What I do!
Audio Recording
Audio Recording is one of my most involved positions on any given set. It requires a knowledge of a vast range of equipment including boom/blimp kits, lavelier microphones, field and handheld recorders. These roles often are included as boom operator, sound operator, sound recordist and floor sound.Â

Being able to set up recording equipment for films, non-fiction and live events is a skill that I am always happy to take up.
Sound Design
Sound design is my most creative role that I love taking up in a variety of productions, especially fiction film and television. Creating sound effects that both feel natural and work within an expressive environment is something that I always work my hardest to generate.Â
Â
Combining my love for foley art and skills in manipulating sound effects in post is a process that I undertake with continued enthusiasm, especially in creating sound effects for fantastical worlds in many genres like horror, fantasy and science fiction.
Audio Editing
Editing for audio was one of my first forays into audio work for video-based work. Whether its recovering audio, adding ADR, manipulating music, each stage of audio editing, combining the majority of my knowledge in understanding how sound operates as a major element of audio-visual art.

Sound Mixing
Although most of my other credits tend to be for film, especially fiction film, I also have many credits for a variety of live events and televised streams. As the Head of Audio at UEA TV, I often oversee for how live events are covered audibly and what the final mix will sound like, making me familiar with a range of analogue and digital mixing desks especially the Allen & Heath QU-16 mixer.
